At a wedding there are two quite different gifts, and it helps not to confuse them. There is the coffret you give the couple — that one can be the largest and the most beautiful you can find. And there are the favours for the guests, which are another matter entirely: they run to dozens, they all have to arrive on the same day, and they must sit beside a place setting. For those, talk to me two or three months ahead — we make the boxes to measure, with the couple’s initials and the date.

For the best man and maid of honour. Each piece is hand-painted and no two are alike — the opposite of a catalogue gift.
