Identification
Delicious Diamonds is a chocolate house based in Leiria, Portugal, founded in 2018. These Terms govern the relationship between the house and any person who accesses the site deliciousdiamonds.pt, browses, creates an account, orders, or subscribes to The Monthly Letter.

Acceptance
By using the site, you declare you are at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter binding contracts. By placing an order or subscribing, you accept these Terms in their version in force at the date.
If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the site nor place orders.
Products and prices
The products shown — coffrets, bespoke compositions, subscriptions — are handcrafted at the Leiria atelier by Chef Chocolatier Joana Marinho. Each piece may vary slightly in shape or tone — it is the nature of an artisanal product.
Prices are in euros (€), with VAT included at the legal rate in force. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; the price applicable to an order is always the one published at the moment you confirmed it.
Images are illustrative. Small colour differences may occur due to your monitor.
Orders
The contract is concluded when you receive the order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of manifest price error, stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or impossibility of delivery to the indicated address.
If we cancel a paid order, we refund the full amount within 14 days.
Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (credit/debit card; other methods will progressively be made available). All payments are processed by a PCI-DSS certified partner. We do not store card data on our servers.
The invoice is issued in accordance with Portuguese tax law and made available in your account · Orders section. If you need it with a tax number, indicate it at order time.
Shipping and delivery
Deliveries to Mainland Portugal, the Islands, and the European Union. Other destinations · please contact the concierge.

Storage and transport
Our chocolates should be kept in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight, heat, and humidity, and consumed within the period indicated on each piece.
Because chocolate quality depends on temperature, we reserve the right to postpone dispatch, or to propose transport under controlled conditions, whenever weather conditions could compromise the product. In such cases, we contact you to arrange the best solution · the integrity of the piece always comes first.
Quality is guaranteed up to the moment of delivery at the indicated address. As this is a sensitive product, we recommend that reception be made by someone present at the location. From delivery onwards, proper storage becomes the recipient's responsibility.
Right of withdrawal
Under Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receipt, without needing to justify.
Legal exception · perishable goods. Art. 17(1)(d) of the same diploma excludes the right of withdrawal for goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. Our artisanal chocolates fall under this exception and, once delivered in conforming condition, are not returnable on a change of mind.
If the product arrives damaged, out of date, or non-conforming, write to us within 48 hours with a photograph · we always resolve · replacement, redispatch, or refund, at your choice.
Warranty and complaints
The statutory warranty of conformity under Decree-Law 84/2021 applies · 3 years for durable goods, reasonable time for perishables.
For any complaint, write to hello@deliciousdiamonds.pt · we reply personally within 48 working hours. In case of dispute, you may also resort to the competent consumer arbitration centre (list at consumidor.gov.pt) or the European ODR platform · ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
The competent entity for our area is CNIACC · the National Centre for Consumer Dispute Information and Arbitration (cniacc.pt).
The Monthly Letter
The Monthly Letter is a recurring subscription · you may pause, change tier, or cancel at any moment, directly in your account. No tie-ins, no penalty clauses.
To pause the next delivery, do so at least 5 days before the scheduled dispatch. Already-paid deliveries will be honoured.
The Annual tier implies a single advance payment of 12 deliveries. In case of cancellation, already-dispatched deliveries are considered; remaining ones may be refunded pro-rata, less any shipping costs incurred.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for operations performed on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts in cases of fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms.
Intellectual property
All site content — text, images, visual identity, videos, design — is the property of Delicious Diamonds or used under licence, and is protected by copyright. It may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without written permission.
The mark Delicious Diamonds, the coffret names, and the monogram ◆ are trademarks of the house.
Limitation of liability
We strive to keep the site available and content accurate, but we do not guarantee total absence of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the order in question.
Nothing in these Terms limits your legal consumer protection.
Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page · date at the top. Material changes are communicated by email to customers with active accounts.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute that cannot be amicably resolved falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of Leiria, without prejudice to the legally applicable consumer forum.
